You will also learn how to assess your fit into a job description and the federal workforce, leverage special hiring authorities, and programs, satisfy the staffing specialist’s resume screening and reach the hiring manager’s interview.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

BRIAN RUSH, US Marine Corps (Retired)

Brian is a contractor supporting federal agencies and a veteran Marine with over 24 years in the federal sector and military service. He specializes in designing and implementing human capital programs, through structured project management and comprehensive change management approaches that ensure organizations are agile and responsive, with HR tools that shape a culture of excellence and support the workforce. Skills include HR analytics for data-driven decisions, policy, succession planning, talent management, training and development, performance management, workforce planning, staffing, organization design, organization development, employee relations, compliance, and formal strategies for process improvement. Career highlights include cross-cultural consulting in the Afghan Ministry of Defense and Republic of Korea Marine Corps, disaster relief, and world-wide deployments including Iraq and Afghanistan.
