FOUR FCC INC. VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE THE PRESIDENTIAL VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD
SPRINGFIELD, VA (January 12, 2024) — Four volunteers from Federal Career Connection, Inc. are the recipients of the prestigious President’s Volunteer Service Award, which recognizes the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity.
Alex Harrington, James Steele, Chris Westbrook, and Jacqueline Charles, PhD are being recognized for their dedicated time and effort to help others, particularly those aspiring to careers in public, national, military, or other federal services. Collectively, all four contributed nearly 670 hours of their time, expertise, and energy to assist job seekers in finding their occupational calling.
This award, initiated by the President of the United States, is a testament to the exceptional commitment and altruism demonstrated by these volunteers. Their selfless contributions have not only aided individuals in their career aspirations but have also strengthened the fabric of our community and nation.

The President's Volunteer Service Award is a national honor offered in recognition of sustained volunteer service. Established in 2003, the award is available annually to individuals, groups, and families who have met or exceeded requirements for volunteer service and have demonstrated exemplary citizenship through volunteering.
