FEDERAL CAREER CONNECTION, INC. SET TO CEASE OPERATIONS IN OCTOBER 2024
Springfield, VA (January 12, 2024) - Federal Career Connection, Inc. (FCC Inc.), a distinguished provider of federal job coaching services, announces the conclusion of its operations in October 2024. Since its inception in 2019, FCC Inc. has significantly influenced job seekers nationwide through various initiatives:
- Successfully hosted 68 educational events, reaching over 2,700 job seekers.
- Committed over 4,600 hours to volunteer service.
- Published more than 80 blogs and press releases, offering vital, impartial career guidance.
Alex Harrington, the founder and chair of FCC Inc., expresses mixed feelings about this decision. "Every journey has its end, and 2024 marks the final chapter for our organization. In October, we will wind down FCC Inc., taking the time to honor and celebrate our substantial contributions with deep appreciation," says Harrington.
The decision to cease operations stems from recent significant resignations, challenges in volunteer recruitment and retention, and insufficient funding. As part of this transition, FCC Inc. will modify its operations, reducing to quarterly webinars to continue aiding job seekers until October 2024.
Harrington extends heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, including board members, officers, and team members. "Connection is the essence of our organization. Collaborating with each of you has positively impacted many lives. This legacy will resonate well beyond our closing," Harrington adds.
